How Play?

Clapper

  • The adult can introduce the rattle in the environment from birth, by rattling when the baby is awake and active. 
  • The rattle however, should be offered to the baby only when theri grasping becomes voluntary. 
  • Offer two choices of rattle to the child and allow them to choose one. Put the other away. 
  • Place the rattle in front of the child to encourage the child to reach out. It should not be too far away thus frustrating the child. 
  • You can also hang the rattle in a floor gym and encourage the child to bat or grasp. Babies enjoy the auditory feedback. 
  • Age : 3M+ 

Wooden Bus

  • Introduce the toy and name it. Gently to show how to push them around 
  • Offer them other offerings like a printed road to make play interesting 
  • Tie a rope to aid pulling when the child is old enough to walk around
